Facebookを使ってるわけじゃなくて自社でソーシャルメディアを運営している事例で、例えば（食品会社の）カゴメは「カゴメわくわくネットワーク」というオウンドメディアのコミュニティを運営している。そしてそこの参加者に「凛々子(りりこ)」というトマトの苗を配ってる。そして参加者は日々、その苗を育てていて、その過程をネットで共有しあっている。この世界ではトマトの話をすることは拍手喝さいなんですよ。

瀧本氏：そのコミュニティ参加者はリアルの世界ではトマトの話はおそらくしてないですよね。カゴメのネットワークの中では「トマトの栽培に熱中している自分」という人格を作っていて、トマトを育てていることを評価される。

　でもその人たちはリアル世界ではひょっとしたら、そのネットの中のようには拍手されることはないかもしれない。これはオンラインゲームに近い感覚がある。
